The infamous Smoggie Mike McGrother comes to Crathorne Arms with his Wild Rover Tour on 3rd June 2016. The front man of the Wildcats of Kilkenny has launched his Wild Rover tour. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather Jimmy McGrother. A Plater by day, Jimmy was renowned for his singing and entertainment of an evening. One of the pubs he was most popular at was The Middle House, a traditional pub in Port Clarence owned by non other than John “Pa” McCoy, grandfather to our Eugene. We welcome Mike, 2 generations on, to sing his folk music with the people who welcomed his grandfather. Lets have a good old traditional knees up! Tickets £6, doors at 8.00pm.
