Barbara McCoy touched so many lives in many ways.
If you had the great fortune to know Barbara your life would have been blessed. Born in Middlesbrough into a well known family, the only girl with 7 much loved brothers.
Barbara was a shy, loving little girl loved by all and as the years went by her huge talents became apparent. Camberwell school of art was her destination and she continued to develop her skills in drawing, design, etching and painting.
When Eugene and Barbara met it was a meeting of creative talent and humour! Their joint skills and the family business in hospitality that they continued to build over many years is the story of legends. In 2013 they brought their magic to The Crathorne Arms.
Their busy lives along with their three children, two grandchildren and a big extended family always included caring for family and friends.
The loss of beautiful Barbara in May 2023 was a tragic loss for her beloved family, her friends and all who had the honour of knowing her. Barbara was strong for everyone and her shining example of how to live shone like a beacon.
Please support this event in memory of Barbara.
